About Krabi

Krabi – Overview

Krabi province with its 480,000 inhabitants is one of Thailand's most visually stunning regions and a paradise for travel and adventure vloggers. The Andaman Sea coastline captivates with towering limestone cliffs, emerald-green waters, and more than 200 offshore islands that deliver some of the most spectacular drone footage in Southeast Asia. With only 30,000 people in the provincial capital itself, Krabi has preserved a small-town charm that sets it apart from its more developed neighbor Phuket, offering creators a quieter, more affordable base without sacrificing natural beauty.

Krabi – Nature & Sightseeing

Railay Beach is the crown jewel of the region and accessible only by longtail boat from Ao Nang, a 15-minute ride costing 100 Baht that immediately lends the destination an exclusive, almost mythical quality on camera. The imposing karst cliffs that tower above the beach have made Railay a world-class rock climbing destination with over 700 marked routes for all skill levels. Beginner half-day courses start at 1,200 Baht and produce excellent content as creators document their first ascent against a backdrop of turquoise sea and jungle canopy. Phra Nang Beach at Railay's southern tip, with its famous princess cave and impossibly clear water, regularly appears on lists of the world's most beautiful beaches. Ao Nang serves as the tourist hub and departure point for island-hopping tours: the four-island tour costs from 800 Baht per person, while the Hong Island tour runs from 1,200 Baht by longtail.

Krabi – Local Life

The Tiger Cave Temple, Wat Tham Suea, has become one of the most popular vlogger challenges in all of Thailand. The 1,237 steps to the summit take between 30 and 60 minutes to climb and reward those who make it with a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view across limestone formations, the sea, and mangrove forests below. Entry is free, making it one of the best no-cost filming locations in southern Thailand. At the base of the mountain sits a cave temple with stalactites and stalagmites that provides an atmospheric setting for culture content.
