1. Platform Independence
Thailand-Vloggers.com is an independent informational platform about Thailand travel creators.
The platform is not affiliated with YouTube, Google, Meta, Facebook, Instagram or any other social media company.
All trademarks, brand names and logos belong to their respective owners.
2. Use of AI on this platform
Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the AI Act) applies from 2 August 2026. It requires deployers to disclose artificially generated image, audio and video content.
This section tells you where artificial intelligence is involved on Thailand-Vloggers.com — and, just as importantly to us, where it is not.
It does not replace the marking on the individual item. Disclosure has to happen where you first encounter the content. That is why every generated image and video on this site carries the visible note “AI-generated”.
2.1 Imagery: generated and marked
The large majority of the imagery on this platform was produced with AI image generators — place and region shots, guide images, attractions, category and page visuals. We use Flux (Black Forest Labs, via fal.ai), and Kling for moving images.
This explicitly means: these images are not photographs of the places shown. They illustrate a mood; they do not document a location. If you want to know what a place actually looks like, watch the embedded creator videos — those are real.
We are working towards real imagery for the most visited locations.
2.2 The character Ploy
Ploy, the host of this site, is an AI-generated character. She does not depict a real person — not a staff member, not a creator, not a community member.
No article, guide or creator profile is attributed to her.
Her likeness is marked because it is photorealistic. The disclosure duty attaches to how something looks, not to whether a real person stands behind it.
2.3 Text
Descriptive text on this platform — creator profiles, region and place descriptions, travel guides — is drawn from publicly available information, editorial research and AI-assisted writing.
Editorial responsibility for all content rests with Benjamin Tietz (address in the imprint).
We are open about the limits of that process: across several thousand passages, there is no line-by-line human review. Information may therefore be outdated, imprecise or wrong.
If you find an error — especially in a profile about yourself — please tell us. We will correct it.
2.4 What is explicitly not generated
The embedded YouTube videos come from the creators themselves. They are the most authentic thing this platform has, and that will not change.
Photos submitted by the community are real photographs and carry a credit. They do not carry an AI note — and that absence is a statement, not an omission.
Unclaimed creator profiles carry no image, only the initial of the channel name. Until August 2026 a drawn cartoon avatar stood there. We removed it because the assignment asserted a gender nobody had verified — a channel run by two people showed a single man's face. An initial asserts nothing. We never generate photorealistic faces of real people.
2.5 What is not an AI system here
Ploy is not a chatbot. There is no artificial intelligence behind her replies — only a fixed set of written lines and rules running in your browser. No model is called, and nothing you type leaves your device.
Calling her an “AI assistant” would simply be untrue.
Should that change, you will be told before your first input — not afterwards, here.
2.6 AI literacy under Article 4 of the AI Act
Since February 2025, Article 4 of the AI Act requires people operating AI systems to have sufficient understanding of how those systems work, where their limits lie and what risks they carry.
The systems in use (Flux and Kling for image and video generation, language models for drafting text) are operated solely by the platform operator. He has professional working knowledge of how these systems behave, of their typical failure modes and of the legal framework around them, and follows developments under the AI Act on an ongoing basis.
2.7 If you spot a marking error
If a generated image on this site carries no note, or a real photograph is wrongly marked, please write to privacy@Thailand-Vloggers.com
We will fix it, and we are grateful for the pointer.
3. Creator Profiles
Creator profiles displayed on this platform are based on publicly available information or submissions from the creators themselves.
The listing of creators on this platform is free of charge and does not create a contractual relationship.
Profiles may be generated from public information, editorial research and AI-assisted content preparation. These pages function as digital creator profiles and linktree-style information pages.
If a profile about you appears here
Some profiles were created without the creator knowing. The descriptive text in them is researched from publicly available information and drafted with AI assistance — it does not come from the person described.
You have the right, at any time, to:
- Claim your profile and manage it yourself
- Request correction of inaccurate statements
- Object to the listing and request complete deletion
Contact for creators
An informal email is enough: privacy@Thailand-Vloggers.com
No reason needs to be given for deletion. We remove the profile promptly and completely once your identity is verified.
4. Creator Verification
Creators who wish to manage their profile on Thailand-Vloggers.com must verify their identity.
Verification may include:
- Screenshot of the YouTube channel dashboard
- Proof of channel ownership
- Temporary verification video uploaded to the creator's channel
Purpose
These verification steps ensure that the person requesting access is the legitimate owner of the channel. Only verified creators can manage their profile, activate monetization links and access the creator community.
5. Profile Claim System
Creator profiles may exist on the platform before the creator actively joins. Creators can claim their existing profile via the creator claim form.
When a claim request is submitted, the platform stores the user identification, creator profile reference, verification method, timestamp, IP address and user agent for verification and audit purposes.
Verification methods include screenshot verification, temporary video verification and manual review. Only after successful verification will the profile be marked as claimed.
6. Verified Creator Status
Once verification is completed, the creator receives verified status on the platform.
The platform may assign visual badges to verified creators, including a Verified Creator Badge and a Supporter Badge. These badges indicate that the creator actively participates in the platform community.
7. Creator Website Activation
Every creator profile automatically receives a basic creator page that acts as a digital creator card, link aggregation page and community discovery page.
The page includes default links to the creator's YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn profiles where available.
External monetization links are disabled until the creator claims their profile.
8. Monetization Link Policy
External monetization links such as Patreon, PayPal, BuyMeACoffee and affiliate links can only be activated if the creator has claimed their profile, has been verified and has accepted the platform terms of service.
This policy prevents misuse of external monetization links on unclaimed profiles.
9. Creator Websites
Creators who claim and manage their own profile pages are responsible for the content published on their personal creator websites.
Creators must provide their own legal information such as:
- Imprint
- Privacy Policy
10. Community Content Contributions
Users may contribute content to the platform, including photos, articles, creator information, location data and travel insights.
Each submission requires explicit confirmation by the contributor:
- Confirmation that the contributor has the rights to publish the content
- Acceptance of the platform contribution terms
11. User Generated Content
Users who upload content such as images, text contributions or articles are responsible for the legality of the content they publish.
By submitting content, users confirm that they own the necessary rights to publish that material.
12. Digital Consent Logging
For all user submissions and community contributions, the platform stores the following data to ensure full transparency and accountability:
- User identification
- Content reference
- Timestamp
- IP address
- User agent (browser identification)
- Consent text version
13. Internal Creator Community
The platform may provide an internal creator community chat for verified creators.
Access to the creator community requires verified creator status. Unverified users cannot access the creator community.
This policy prevents spam and protects the integrity of the creator community.
14. Data Processing Transparency
Personal data is processed exclusively within the framework of statutory data protection regulations.
When submitting forms, the following data is stored:
- Timestamp
- IP address
- User agent (browser identification)
- Consent text version
15. Creator Removal
Creators may request the removal of their profile at any time.
After verification of the request, the profile will be removed from the platform.

When accessing such content, personal data may be transmitted to the respective platform provider.
Embedded content is only loaded after user consent.
