Pattaya Viewpoint (Khao Phra Tamnak)
Pattaya's best free panoramic viewpoint — atop Khao Phra Tamnak hill overlooking the crescent bay, Koh Larn, and the city's neon skyline.

About this Place
Pattaya Viewpoint sits atop Khao Phra Tamnak hill in the South Pattaya area, offering the city's best panoramic view over Pattaya Bay in a crescent sweep with Koh Larn island visible in the distance. The hill is accessible by a steep road (motorcycle recommended) or via the hilltop Pattaya Park Tower. The summit hosts a large Buddha image, lookout platforms, and a military base. Golden hour and after-dark views of Pattaya's neon cityscape are particularly dramatic. Combine with a visit to the hilltop Buddha — Buddha Mountain where a huge relief carving of the Luang Por Yai Buddha is carved into a cliff face on the south side of the hill. Free entry. One of few green spaces near Pattaya offering perspective on the city's dramatic bay setting.
