Hua Hin Beach
Thailand's elegant royal beach resort — 5km of white sand favoured by Thai royalty, Bangkok weekenders, and long-stay expats.

About this Place
Hua Hin's beach is the longest and most prestigious royal resort beach in Thailand — a 5km stretch of fine white sand backed by hotels and beach bars. Unlike the party beaches of Phuket or Pattaya, Hua Hin maintains an elegant, relaxed atmosphere favoured by the Thai royal family (Klai Kangwon Palace sits at the northern end) and wealthy Bangkok weekenders. The southern end near the pier is lined with fishing boats and seafood restaurants. Hua Hin Fishing Pier offers sunset views and access to fresh market seafood. Horses available for beach riding — a Hua Hin tradition. Sea conditions are generally calm from Feb–Oct; Nov–Jan can have rough waves. The beach town has excellent dining, independent boutiques, and a quality restaurant scene that extends well beyond tourist fare.
