Ko Loi Temple (Offshore Rock Island)
A tiny temple island 200m offshore, reached by narrow jetty — home to sacred pythons, monks, and sweeping Gulf of Thailand views from Si Racha's shoreline.

About this Place
Ko Loi is a small rocky island temple 200 metres offshore from Si Racha, connected by a narrow jetty walkway across the water. The island is an active Buddhist temple with monks in residence, surrounded by the Gulf of Thailand on all sides. Sacred resident Burmese pythons (kept in wooden shrines on the island, believed to bring good fortune) are one of Si Racha's most unusual sights. The temple complex contains a Buddha footprint pavilion and multiple prayer halls with Gulf views. The jetty walkway itself is charming — fishermen sit with lines dangling into the water as you cross. Si Racha's seafood restaurants perched on stilts extend along the shore on both sides. Ko Loi is free to visit and takes only 20–30 minutes to explore but makes a distinctive mini-excursion. Combined with Si Racha's waterfront seafood lunch, it makes a genuinely enjoyable half-day from Pattaya or Bangkok.
