Former guerrilla headquarters, now national park with bizarre stone formations and cool cloud forest at 1,500 m.

About this Place

Phu Hin Rong Kla served as the communist insurgent headquarters from 1968 to 1982 and is now a fascinating national park combining nature and history. Beyond the preserved guerrilla headquarters and political school, the park offers bizarre stone formations, the Lan Hin Pum stone field, and cool cloud forest above 1,500 m elevation. Wild cherry trees bloom here in winter.
