Tha Pai Hot Springs
Natural thermal springs in forested parkland south of Pai — soak in geothermally heated pools, walk bamboo trails, and eat spring-boiled eggs.

About this Place
The Tha Pai Hot Springs sit within a forested park 7km southeast of Pai town, where naturally heated thermal water (reaching 80°C at the source) bubbles up from the ground and flows into designated bathing pools cooled to comfortable soaking temperature. The main stream feature — a hot spring flowing into a cool jungle creek — allows you to find your preferred temperature by positioning yourself in the current. A bathing pool area with changing facilities is available for a small fee. The surrounding park offers short walking trails through bamboo forest. Hard-boiled eggs cooked in the spring's water are sold by vendors (a Thai thermal spring tradition). Best combined with the Pai Canyon and the waterfall circuit on a full-day motorbike loop south of Pai. Local families and travellers visit early morning before tour groups arrive around 10:00.
