Khanom is one of the few places in Thailand where you can observe pink dolphins (Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphins) in the wild. The dolphins live year-round in coastal waters and are regularly spotted on boat tours from Khanom Pier. Early morning offers the best chances. The dolphins have a characteristic pink coloring that intensifies with age.
