Prang Sam Yot is a 13th-century Khmer temple and Lopburis landmark. The three distinctive Bayon-style prangs (towers) are the citys most photographed subject. Hundreds of long-tailed macaques have claimed the temple as their territory, entertaining visitors with their antics. Each November, the Monkey Buffet Festival serves the monkeys a huge fruit banquet.
