The Grand Palace has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam since 1782 and remains Thailand's most sacred and visited landmark. The sprawling complex covers 218,000 square metres and houses the revered Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew). Its intricate golden spires, mosaic-covered stupas, and guardian statues represent the pinnacle of Thai architecture and craftsmanship.
